Talking SIP™ is an advanced software solution for next generation SIP based networks bringing the network to life. Communicating directly with industry leading softswitches, gateways, IADs and IP phones, Talking SIP™ functions as a fully integrated application, media and billing server, providing leading, in-demand enhanced service applications to the network along with real-time prepaid, postpaid and multi-level billing models with real-time call cut off and billing.

System Requirements

Talking SIP™ Server

Talking SIP™ is the main call processing and billing engine. It should be placed on a standalone machine with the ability to deploy as many Talking SIP™ nodes, in a single network, as required.

Processor: Intel Pentium IV or Core 2 Duo Processor 2.2 GHz or Higher
Memory: At least 512MB of RAM
Operating System: Windows Server 2003 or 2008 higher
Hard Disk Space:
At least 125MB free disk space
Additional:

Client connectivity component from the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 CD (Needed to connect to the SQL Server subscriber database)

The Talking SIP™ software utilizes a centralized and open database provided by Microsoft SQL Server. Multiple Talking SIP™ server nodes can utilize a single database to allow load sharing, redundancy and high availability.

*Note: For high density and high call volume deployments we recommend that a RAID 10 drive configuration is used for the data files and a RAID 1 drive configuration is used for the OS and log files. If possible the OS, data and logs should be on separate disk systems and SCSI array channels.
