IVR Technologies, a leading software developer for SIP-based, IP-enhanced services and real-time billing, today announced the deployment of its Talking SIP software at Empire One Telecom. The deployment integrates Talking SIP with the CopperCom Converged Service eXchange (CSX) system, providing Empire One Telecom with a total end-to-end solution that is tightly integrated via the SIP protocol. The combined solution enables out-of-the-box, revenue-generating, IP-based services for Empire One's retail and wholesale customer base.
Empire One Telecom selected Talking SIP to work in an integrated configuration with the CopperCom CSX to provide prepaid calling card, voice over broadband and real-time wholesale services along with completely automated subscriber signup, management and e-commerce facilities.
IVR Technologies' Talking SIP is a robust, feature-rich software solution that integrates an application server, a real-time billing server and a media server into a unified solution. Talking SIP offers real-time interactive voice services and billing through a complete suite of service-ready, revenue-generating enhanced service applications. Talking SIP performs real-time call processing via SIP messaging and provides independent, script-controlled interactive voice response (IVR) prompting over the real-time transport protocol (RTP). Requiring only an Ethernet LAN 10/100 Mbps connection, Talking SIP eliminates the need to consume costly public switched transport network (PSTN) ports, while offering centralized intelligence to the network.
"We are pleased to announce the Empire One Telecom deployment as it highlights the true interoperability of our Talking SIP solution and its in-demand application suite that next-generation service providers demand in order to compete in today's telecom marketplace." said Barry S. Sher, VP Business Development, IVR Technologies.
"This thing rocked right out of the box, we had it up and running in less than 1 hour, truly Plug and Play. It doesn't get much easier than this," said Paul Butler COO Empire One Telecom.
"In today's competitive marketplace, IP-based services, like Talking SIP, are the keys to success and competitive differentiation," said Bob Kersey, VP Product Management, CopperCom. "CopperCom works in partnership with our customers to enable them to deploy advanced services that result in new, recurring revenue streams. It has been exciting to partner with IVR Technologies to make these services available to Empire One Telecom's customers."
IVR Technologies is an advanced software development company emerging as a leader in the SIP space for Voice over IP enhanced services and real-time billing.
